Today was like a really long, gray dream

Today was like a really long, gray dream. I woke up late to the coldest day so far of the new fall season. The extremely overcast sky, filled with gray clouds added to the aesthetic of the cool temperatures.

I suited up in my gray sweatsuit, gray cashmere stocking cap, and my gray shoes. Filled my black coffee mug up with black coffee and headed out to walk the dog.

Aside from getting some work done in my dark office, that was pretty much how the rest of the day went. It’s almost dinner time now. The weather hasn’t changed, I’d say it’s actually gotten grayer. I’m out walking the dog again in the same outfit I wore this morning, blending into the atmosphere.

When you live in a state that’s known for supposedly how many days of sunshine it has per year, you really notice the days when the sun doesn’t come out.
