“The bus came by and I got on, that’s when it all began…”

You know that feeling after halftime of a sporting event, or set break of a concert, when the energy of the unfolding events is rising again and anything could happen, but you’re also consciously aware that the end of said event is inevitable? As I enter the third quarter of my life, I’m forced to reflect on the journey that’s gotten me here. I’ve visited 4 Countries and 40 States, so far. Moved across the country. Performed music in front of thousands. Overcome Cancer. Adopted 2 dogs and found an amazing partner to join me for the ride.

I’m not planning on slowing down or stopping anytime soon. Traveling, learning, exploring, staying current, and learning cultures will always be a priority for me. Technology is advancing rapidly and the way we live our lives has shifted many times over the past few decades. I imagine by the time my body fails me, the world will look dramatically different. Considering that in the short time I’ve been here we’ve gone from Rotary Phones to Home Automation, I’m excited to see what the future holds. “You either get busy living, or you get busy dying”.
